Ballarat Roller Derby League – BRDL Pride Visibility Project

Ballarat Roller Derby League (BRDL) run weekly adult fitness programs, junior roller skating classes and roller derby training sessions from Doug Dean Stadium in Delacombe.

BRDL received small grant funding to create a range of Pride-branded materials featuring their newly developed Pride Logo. These items will be used at games and community events such as pride markets and community fundraising events to show their commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion and visibility.

The league are undertaking this project to strengthen the visibility of our allyship, and reinforce that inclusivity is a core value of our league. By making their Pride identity more visible, they aim to foster a greater sense of belonging and further embed inclusion across their organisation and community presence.
