Knuckles Animation Studio: If/When

Knuckles Animation Studio are an award winning, independent animation studio that specialises in 2-D and stop-motion animation.

“If/When” is a contemporary tale of connection and love, centered on two queer characters. The protagonist, Ollie, is a 30-year-old non-binary individual who falls in love with Az, a female-identifying character. The narrative explores Ollie’s struggle to form lasting connections due to a unique time-traveling condition, and their journey to defy the universe for Az, who is worth the effort.

Development has been guided by diverse voices, incorporating feedback into script drafts & fostering an open dialogue to ensure an authentic & inclusive story. Knuckles Animations ongoing mission is to create valuable learning opportunities by pairing trainees with skilled practitioners to equip & up skill individuals interested in stop-motion animation.
