DOG, a theatre performance on the impact of invisible disabilities and addiction on the genderqueer community has been programmed at KXT on Broadway and will be presented alongside panels with support from OCD Australia and Invisible Disability Australia.
The performances and panels take place in Glebe across May 24th—June 8th, where queer audiences who live with invisible disabilities, mental health issues and addiction will be able to engage in interactive panels post-performance that not only discuss the play but receive practical resources, help and catharsis.
Written by Shayne De Groot and produced in partnership with Laneikka Denne, this initiative is based on personal experiences of being queer, disabled and mentally ill in rural NSW.
