Valerie Rice: Plushia

Plushia aims to create accesible online spaces for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

A lot of online spaces, especially online gaming spaces, are very poorly moderated (or not at all) regarding discrimination against LGBTQIA+ individuals. Plushia hopes to be able to grow and expand existing small communities to something much larger that will allow others to find a space to interact with their community with full support from the staff and no risk of discrimination.

Plushia is 100% LGBTQIA+ run, as all of the staff (who are volunteers) are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Plushia is an ongoing project so there is no timeline for the project but there are plans for additonal expansions to what Plushia does.
