Pride Foundation Australia & Aurora Group Grant Round Announcement

The PFA Board of Directors and the Aurora Group are very pleased to announce the successful applicant to our inaugural grant round.

Different Journeys – for their project Building Bridges between Autism and LGBTQI Communities

Different Journeys is an autistic peer support group based in Melbourne.

Using the grant, they will employ LGBTQI+/Autism community members to attend their events as leaders, mentors and ambassadors. The mentors will mingle with all participants and families and make the events an even safer and more inclusive space for the LGBTQI+ community. They will educate participants about LBGTQI issues and provide LBGTQI information, support and referral. They will also aim to raise awareness about issues impacting on the LBGTQI ASD community.

We congratulate Different Journeys.
