Congratulations to Georgia Matthews and The Channel – GALFA’s first sub-fund, on the successful completion of their first grant round.
The two recipients were:
- Document Australian Foundation for ‘A Clever Label’ – $10,000
A documentary exposing the influence of the Australian Chrirstian Lobby on our democracy and how this impacts on LGBTQIA+ people. - Lara Gerrand for ‘Pride in Care’ – $5,000
An advocacy, education and leadership organisation lead by LGBTQIA+ youth with an out of home care experience.
The second grant round is underway with a theme of overcoming isolation.
