Queer Worship Night

Queer Worship Night received a 2025 small grant towards 12 monthly events to grow their community’s membership and strengthen partnerships with other community organisations like Bulimba Community Centre (BCC). Events span from May 2025 to April 2026 and continue our established rhythm of alternating worship nights with community-building social events.

Through these events, Queer Worship Night helps to strengthen LGBTQIA+ members’ relationships with their own faith communities and empower them to become leaders themselves in those communities.

They will also continue supporting the mental health of queer people of faith, as their previous events have done effectively, by providing a safe, trauma-informed queer space to [re]engage spirituality as life-giving again.
