headspace Newcastle: This IS Me – Live Event

The As You Are group is facilitated by headspace Newcastle providing social and creative connections for LGBTQIA+ youth in the Newcastle area.

The PFA Small Grant supports the facilitation of “This Is Me” – an LGBTQIA+, all ages event with live music and food. While there are a number of events and venue in Newcastle that cater for LGBTQIA+ youth over 18, this event provides an opportunity for LGBTQIA+ youth to experience live music and performance.

The event will take place during mental health month (October) and engage a range of LGBTQIA+ artists and performers. It is also important to link in with other rainbow friendly organizations such as Newcastle Pride and ACON.
