PFA Raises $5,551.20 for Transcend Australia during GiveOUT Day 2024

This year, Pride Foundation Australia chose to use our annual GiveOUT fundraising campaign to further support for Transcend Australia’s work.

In 2023, our annual Pride Month Fundraiser saw our community raise $20,000 for Transcend, towards a project that helps trans young people develop leadership and media skills for self advocacy. This next phase of their project will now allow these young people to put their skills into practice with a National Youth Action Program.

Thank you to everyone who supported Pride Foundation Australia’s fundraising efforts on October 17th. Thanks to the contributions made throughout our campaign, we  raised $3,634.27 in direct donations to our fundraiser.

With matched donations up to $1750 per cause from GiveOUT and an additional boost of $166.93 from the Give To The Entire Rainbow contribution, our total raised for Transcend Australia is $5,551.20.

“The support from Pride Foundation Australia and their supporters will enable Transcend Australia to empower Australian trans young people and amplify their voices to promote respect and the need for self determination.’ – Jeremy Wiggins, CEO Transcend Australia
