GALFA has commissioned research involving interviews with LGBTIQ people living with disability to understand their intersecting identities as well as their experiences in health and social services. This work was seed-funded by GALFA, with additional funding of $50,000 just received from the Victorian State Government.

We are working with an expert team at Deakin University, led by Patsie Frawley and Amie O’Shea. Amie has just published a piece on previous work funded by GALFA with Inclusion Melbourne in the September issue of the Intellectual Disability Australasia newsletter.
