GALFA has received several applications for small grants of up to $500 since the program launch in April this year. The Small grants committee led by GALFA Board member Catherine Fitzgerald has given six grants so far to a diverse range of recipients:
- Bisexual+ Community Perth
- Aboriginal LGBTI Awareness Day, Southern Cross, WA
- Pride March Adelaide
- Albert Park Flexible Learning Centre, Brisbane
- Wong Lab Productions, Melbourne
- Nurul Tajularus – Sydney Gay Muslims
These grants are extending the reach of GALFA funds and supporting LGBTIQ people around Australia.
